This studio is ideally located on the corner of West Street and Battery Place, in Battery Park, downtown Manhattan. It is on the 34th floor (33rd for Europeans) of a luxury, high-speed elevator building with amenities including a fulltime doorman and laundry facilities, as well as a rooftop terrace, where residents can take in the amazing views of the Harbor, Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and Statue of Liberty! During the summer months, the terrace is furnished with lounge chairs, so you can lie in the sun, get a tan, and enjoy the warm weather!

This air-conditioned, fully furnished studio apartment has hardwood floors and a functional layout comprised of a living / bedroom, separate kitchen, and bathroom. The entry hallway has two closets, which provide plenty of storage space. It leads to the living area, which is furnished with a queen-sized bed, TV, a coffee table and couch, and a small desk, where you can work from home, as there is wireless internet available (for an additional fee). It is a bright room, with two windows overlooking the street and allowing a great view of the Manhattan skyline, specifically the high-rise buildings in the Financial District, as well as a limited water view if you look toward the New York Harbor. The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops and adequate cabinet space. The bathroom is well lit, has a large mirror, and is marble-lined from top to bottom.

Staying in downtown Manhattan gives you access to the many different places and things to do in NYC. Within the Battery Park area, you can dine at several eateries, including Inatesso Pizzabar Casano, offering Italian cuisine with a twist, 2 West, a modern American bistro at the Ritz Carlton hotel, and West Bank Gourmet, an authentic NY deli, all within about a block. Cross the street to Battery Park, which has a beautiful waterfront and lovely flower gardens, and is site to summer concerts. From here, you can take the ferry to visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. This neighborhood has popular tourist attractions like the Freedom Tower, Castle Garden, the New York Stock Exchange, and New York City Hall, among others. You will also probably want to discover the rest of Manhattan.

There are many subway stations nearby, the closest one being Bowling Green / Broadway (4 and 5 trains)—just two blocks away. You can also catch the 1, N, and R trains at the Rector Street station (3 blocks). Adjacent neighborhoods include TriBeca, Little Italy, Chinatown, and the Lower East Side.

Please note that this apartment is strictly NON-SMOKING.
